With New Coffee-Bean Partnership, Starbucks to Brew Up Its First Stores in India

Starbucks is partnering with India-based coffee-bean provider Tata Coffee to help it open its first retail stores in India. According to the agreement, Tata will help Starbucks source and roast beans, as well as develop the new stores.

Starbucks to Double Rate of Store Openings

The world's largest coffee retailer said it plans to open 500 new locations - the highest planned store-opening rate since the 2008 fiscal year. And in the next two years, China will be Starbucks' biggest growth market.
