Wegmans Recalls Pine Nuts Over Salmonella Concerns

Turkish pine nuts sold in bulk at Wegmans, an upscale grocery-store chain, have been linked to a salmonella outbreak that sent two people to hospitals and sickened 40 others in five East Coast states and Arizona.

More Bad Eggs: Second Iowa Farm Joins Recall

Following a salmonella outbreak, Hillandale Farms has added a recall of more than 170 million eggs to Wright County Egg's earlier recall of 380 million. That's a lot of bad eggs, making this one of the largest egg recalls in recent history.
