Caprice Fimbres McIlvaine, formerly head of internal communications at the company, resigned effective Aug. 9, three days after Hurd%u2019s departure, Fortune reported. McIlvaine acted as "something of a chief of staff to Hurd", accompanying him on business trips and organizing gatherings of top customers, Fortune said.
