China to Ax College Majors That Don't Lead to Jobs

For years, U.S. college students have been told that some majors are one-way tickets to "Would you like fries with that?" But in China, educational officials aren't just warning students away from those majors -- they plan to trim or cut them altogether.

The job market for recent college graduates will rebound slightly next year, according to a study from Michigan State University, with overall hiring expected to increase 3% over last year and hiring of those with Bachelor's degrees expected to jump by 10%.
