Slate No Longer Going for The Big Money, Shutting Down Website

In yet another blow to financial media, Slate Group announced that it is shuttering online business magazine The Big Money.
Is Atlantic Media's plan to start a business-news website cursed? The launch has been postponed indefinitely, and the editor heading up the project is leaving the company.
Kinsley Out as Editor of Atlantic's New Business Site

Michael Kinsley, the Slate founder and all-purpose genius, is stepping down as editor of the not-yet-launched business site of Atlantic Media, publisher of The Atlantic magazine. He had been in the position since October, and he confirms his departure in an exclusive to DailyFinance.
A month ago, Atlantic Media announced it had hired Slate founder and all-purpose pundit Michael Kinsley to launch a "new digital media property," but it didn't say just what sort of property it would be.
Turns out, it's the same sort as the one you're reading -- i.e. a business-news website....
