Twitter launches a new platform called @anywhere to integrate Twitter on partner sites. But while heavyweight partners sign on, many attendees of the innovation conference South by Southwest left during the keynote speech announcing the new service.

Foursquare and its biggest competitor, Gowalla, have created a phenomenon at South by Southwest in which everyone's toting around their smartphones to check in at hotels, bars, parties, keynote sessions and even a pile of Legos in the convention center.
