The CNN host Piers Morgan heralded Ron Johnson, CEO of J.C. Penney, as the genius behind Apple stores who's now working his magic on J.C. Penney, ignoring the big, fat elephant in the room: Johnson's February makeover of the chain has so far flopped, sinking revenues and alienating shoppers.

CNN Replaces Jon Klein as Makeover Looms

CNN president Jonathan Klein has been hard at work this year remaking the network's primetime lineup, its most important programming block. But whether or not his effort proves successful, he won't be around to find out. CNN just announced that Klein is leaving his post, and the network, after six years, to be replaced by Ken Jautz, head of sister channel HLN.

Piers Morgan Finally Lands Larry King's CNN Job

The British newspaper journalist and TV personality will take over in 2011 from King, who was originally set to retire this fall. Morgan is already known to U.S. viewers of America's Got Talent, the British show's spin-off.
