Scott Lane Appointed Director of Sales at Hyatt Hotels of Denver Downtown

Scott Lane has been appointed Director of Sales at Hyatt Regency Denver at Colorado Convention Center and Grand Hyatt Denver.
Lane graduated from the University of Houston Conrad Hilton School of Hotel and Restaurant Management and joined Hyatt Regency Houston in 1990 at the front desk and later the Housekeeping Department. It was there that Lane began his career in sales before moving to the Grand Hyatt Atlanta in Buckhead. In 1999, he was appointed Associate Director of Sales at a Hyatt flagship hotel, the 1200 room Hyatt Regency Atlanta. His career progressed to include positions as the Director of Sales at Hyatt Regency McCormick Place, Hyatt Regency Minneapolis and Hyatt Regency Austin. In 2005, Lane became the Director of Sales at Hyatt Regency San Antonio adding the Grand Hyatt San Antonio to his portfolio when the two hotels combined their sales efforts in 2010.
Lane assumes a similar position at the downtown Denver, Colorado hotels overseeing a sales staff of 24 associates representing both the 516-room Grand Hyatt Denver Downtown, now undergoing a $28 million hotel renovation, and the 1,100 room Hyatt Regency Denver at Colorado Convention Center. In this position, Scott Lane leads the effort to provide meeting and convention booking ease for a combined total of 120,600 square feet of Denver meeting and event space at the AAA Four Diamond hotels; 60,000 at Grand Hyatt Denver and 60,600 at Hyatt Regency Denver.
