New Optimum.net en Español Provides Hispanic Customers With In-Language Access to Their Optimum Services

Cablevision Systems Corp. (NYSE: CVC) today announced the launch of the new Optimum.net en Español, Optimum’s comprehensive Spanish-language customer Web portal. Optimum’s Hispanic customers now have a single, focused, easy-to-use destination on the Web to access the unique content, features and functionality specific to their Optimum subscription.
Optimum.net en Español brings together customers’ Optimum services with full Spanish-language features, such as My Account, Bill Pay, Support, Online DVR management and Optimum TV to GO services, which includes Univision’s UVideos. In addition, customers can browse, search and discover the full suite of Optimum products and features via Explore Optimum as well as a custom site search. The Spanish-language Web portal also allows customers to effortlessly get their email and voicemail directly from the homepage, as well as access to News12 en Español where available.

The Spanish version of Optimum.net can be accessed by simply clicking the “En español” link on the upper righthand corner of any page on Optimum.net. Also, if a customer’s browser is set to Spanish language, they will automatically be presented Optimum.net en Español.
Cablevision offers a range of services tailored to the needs and interests of Hispanic customers. The Optimum en español television package includes more than 45 Spanish-language channels and a free Spanish-language VOD service. It is available to customers starting at $8.95 a month for subscribers with Optimum Value and above. Optimum also provides many hours of Spanish-language VOD programming every month. Optimum Voice offers flat-rate plans for unlimited local and long-distance calling within the U.S., Puerto Rico and Canada, and Optimum Voice World Call offers up to 250 minutes of calling anywhere in the world, including up to 30 minutes of calls to Cuba, for $19.95.
Optimum Hispano, the triple-play package tailored to Optimum Hispanic customers, brings together digital cable television that includes Optimum en español as well as Optimum Online and Optimum Voice, for $29.95 each per month for one year. This promotional offer also includes unlimited calling in the US, Canada and nine Latin American countries and Spain. The offer is available to new residential, existing non-video and Broadcast Basic only customers. A digital cable box at a monthly charge is required for each television to receive digital services.
