MDWebPro, a Division of Digital Solutions, Inc. Releases "How to Build Safe Links in Healthcare Blogging,” February 14, 2013
Minneapolis, MN (PRWEB) February 28, 2013
Stuart’s blog “How to Build Safe Links in Healthcare” explains how a site will be penalized by Google if that site accepts guest contributions that are spun (same content that has been rewritten) or offering low value content. Google is not interested in indexing (including in their search results) a blog post that’s not up to par. Stuart warns “If a guest contribution is written with a total of 200 words and over-saturated with links, be prepared to have that post not indexed, or even worse penalized.”
Stuart emphasis the importance of having an author bio connected to a Google+ page through the use of Plug-ins. A Plug-in like “WordPress SEO by Yoast” has a form providing step-by-step instructions on how to establish authorship.
Stuart warns that unnatural, over-saturated outbound links will raise a red flag and recommends reading Google’s FAQ pages which will help a site avoid violating Google’s Webmaster Guidelines.
Stuart closes with a reminder that blogging should be about enriching and engaging a colleague and/or community. The sharing of valuable content (If done correctly) can ultimately establish a site as a legitimate author to be indexed by Google.
