First Company to Positively Affect the Global Economy Revealed by G.E.M.
Shamrock Lakes, IN (PRWEB) February 28, 2013
G.E.M. reveals how Smart Media Technologies helps to improve the economics of all countries it does business in. SMT creates nothing but digital products which are sold worldwide. Due to the Internet it is now possible for companies to generate billions of dollars a year in revenue from products that have no production or manufacturing costs at all. Facebook and Google are perfect examples of this. However, companies like this can sometimes pay little or no taxes on this money.
Since the products they sell are digital they don't produce jobs the way physical products do. It can almost be seen as selling "thin air." G.E.M. does not see the selling of digital products as a bad thing and is not even calling anyone out as many have on the tax issues. It is G.E.M's only intention to show how Smart Media Technologies conducts the same type of business but has a drastically different impact on the economies. Since there is no way for G.E.M. to know how SMT handles their taxes it is not possible to make such a claim if there was not something totally different about the SMT business model.
What makes SMT different has nothing to do with taxes, it is what they do with the money they receive before it ever gets to tax time that makes the big difference. Smart Media Technologies makes all of its money through the sale of digital products, but because of its unique business model it pays out 75% of its net profits back into the Global Economy, so it does not matter how much they pay in taxes 75% goes back in.
In the case of Advertising, for example, 25% is paid out to the seller. 10% is paid out to the person who saw and interacted with the ad which caused it to be consumed. 30% goes to the network owner the end user saw the ad on and 10% goes to the person who sold that network owner their system. This means that 75% goes back into the economy.
When a banner is shown to a consumer online some company is paying for that and most likely it is an advertiser in the viewers country. Regardless of that though the viewer is in the country so 10% of that advertising cost went to that country. The seller of the advertising is also more likely to have been from that country which means 25% would have also remained in that country. Also the system owner who receives the 30% is also more likely to be from that particular country.
Since SMT products can be bought or sold anywhere in the world it is also possible for countries to receive revenue from other countries. For example, someone in Malaysia may have sold the system to someone in Germany. So that German business owner may have given that product not only to people in Germany but anywhere else in the world and that means that person in Malaysia is earning 10% off of all those people combined. A business in France could buy advertising off of a system owned by someone in Africa causing the African company or individual to earn 25% of what the advertiser spends every month.
When businesses give HPP to users in their country they support the economy in their country. When they give it to people outside their country they are actually transferring revenue from another country into their own economy. Since HPP is actually a free product just like Facebook, Google, Twitter, YouTube, etc. it can be given to and used by anyone in the world creating a new and very advanced economic web. So if SMT were to generate 1 billion dollars in advertising sales, 750 Million would have been paid out into the global economy before it reached the point of paying any taxes on it.
G.E.M commends SMT for this brilliant business model and hopes that others may follow their example in the future. While it is obvious that SMT will earn far less profits from this business model it could end up making even more in the long run if consumers chose to support companies like it over companies who give very little or absolutely nothing back to their economy.
