As July Fourth falls on a Wednesday this year, shop early in the week for the best deals, Brad Wilson, CEO of coupon and savings site BradsDeals.com, tells <em>DailyFinance</em>.</p>

<strong>Compare Prices Online for Deals on Seasonal Products</strong><br />
<br />
Look on the web first for deals on summer-weather products such as outdoor furniture and home-improvement gear.<br />
<br />
But keep in mind that even if top-line prices on the web beat those at bricks-and-mortar stores, don't forget to factor in shipping costs to get the true price comparison, Wilson says. "Especially when dealing with bulky items, like lawnmowers and grills, shipping charges can be a real deal killer."<br />
<br />
If a big shipping charge is ruining an otherwise great deal, "check to see if the retailer offers free store pickup, where you buy online and pick it up locally yourself," he suggests.</p>

<strong>Be Coupon-Code Savvy</strong><br />
<br />
Find the best coupon code. "Just because a store is featuring a specific code prominently on their site doesn't mean it is the best or only code available," Wilson says.<br />
<br />
"Many stores will be offering site wide promotions for the Fourth, but you may be able to get even bigger savings by researching other coupon options," he says.<br />
<br />
Scour BradsDeals.com, which posts hundreds of coupons daily during the holiday period, including many hard-to-find and exclusive offers, Wilson.</p>
