Seattle-based perfumer Julie Wray named this scent after Anastasia, the heroine of Fifty Shades of Grey. Combining the innocent scent of vanilla with "naughty" hints of amber, musk, and patchouli, Wray tries to capture the delicate balance of sweetness and danger that lies at the heart of the series.

Jennifer Ray has been designing and selling rock 'n' roll-themed jewelry in her Etsy store since 2009. When Fifty Shades of Grey came out, she quickly realized that the book's mature material fit perfectly into her offerings. "I had already made several pieces of jewelry that could be labeled Fifty Shades-inspired," she notes. "Since the book was becoming so popular, it only made sense to move more in that direction." This pair of handcuff earrings hints at the bondage themes that fill the series.

A simple, moody image of a carnival mask, MaryStClare's Fifty Shades pendant is based on the second book in the series. Mary Dovenbarger, owner of the shop, dove into the books shortly after they came out: "I read all three books in one week and was completely obsessed," she recalls. She soon started making Fifty Shades pendants; today, items inspired by the books account for 71% of her business.

Jay Silvia's Fifty Shades-inspired bookmark manages to evoke Christian Grey's sexual dominance, even as it offers a handy tool for actually reading the books. While the bookmarks haven't been among his best-selling items, Silvia notes that they have driven a lot of traffic to his website.
