U.S. Inflation Expands Beyond Food and Fuel

U.S. consumers already have been hit with higher prices for food and fuel. But the rising prices won't stop there. The weak dollar means that prices for imported goods -- and components -- are headed up, further boosting inflation.
The World Trade Organization has supported the Obama administration's decision in September 2009 to enact tariffs on Chinese tires imported to the U.S. The WTO said the president's claim that such imports disrupted the domestic tire market was warranted.
