That excuse to eat bad food at the football game for the lack of options may soon go away. You will soon have a healthy alternative at the stadium.
Jamba Juice recently announced a deal with Centerplate, a hospitality partner to convention centers and sports stadiums, to offer Jamba Juice kiosks at select locations.
The agreement is a big win for the healthy quick serve brand, which plans to drive franchise growth through small-format outlets that would be considered non-traditional for the chain, including college campuses, airports, malls and grocery stores. The deal would expand Jamba Juice's customer base and give it a boost despite the difficult economy.
For customers, this would be a welcome option to have. Next time at the baseball game, you don't have to indulge in sausages, french fries and other guilty pleasures if you don't want to. You can go with a California Flatbread or Omega 3 chocolate brownie cookie instead.
But, would the beer drinking, sausage eating rambunctious fans find comfort in health food? I guess, we shall soon find out.
