American Girl seems to get more and popular every year -- and, especially if you're buying the accessories, more expensive.

So if you're planning on giving your favorite girl an American Girl doll, it should cheer you up to know that there are some deals out there for Cyber Monday. And, yes, that's Cyber Monday -- as in, these deals are only good today.

All in all, they have more than 50 items that are up to 50% off, according to the American Girl store's Web site. (The key words: up to. Not every sale item is actually 50% off. But no matter. A sale is a sale.)



Some of the specials include the Doll Hair Studio DVD for $4 (a savings of $5.95), the American Girl Trading Cards ($1, a savings of 95 cents) and "Kit Kittredge: An American Girl Original Motion Picture Soundtrack" for $6 (a savings of $9).

Obviously the big question -- are any of the American Girl dolls themselves on sale? Alas, no -- but there are some significant sales, beyond that 95 cents. If you want to buy Julie's School Locker, for instance, the price is $125 (gasp, choke, I know), but you're saving $50.

According to the American Girl Web site, these orders are valid up until 11:59 p.m., Central Standard Time, "or while supplies last. Quantities may be limited."
