Don't call it failure. Although he targeted FUBU fashion mogul Daymond John to invest $200,000 in his surf-and-skate clothing label, Craig French from Long Island, N.Y., came away empty-handed on ABC's Shark Tank. But as he tells WalletPop.com's Jason Cochran, the last laugh is his.

Although he didn't get a check from the Sharks, he did land a deal with a major retail chain, and the exposure on network television pulled in some 50,000 visitors to the Crooked Jaw Web site in less than 24 hours.

Catch up with French and the status of the Crooked Jaw brand in our Skype video interview. And find more interviews with the forces behind Shark Tank -- winners, losers, and the Sharks themselves -- on our AfterShark page.
