Did you know that you can score free products just by using regular, everyday coupons? It's true, and here are five examples that you can use to try this strategy out.
1) $0.50 off Cottonelle toilet paper 4-packs – if you're lucky enough to live near a Kroger that doubles coupons, you can use this to purchase 4-packs of Cottonelle toilet paper for free. With five kids, we go through a lot of toilet paper, so this saves us a ton of money each month.
3) $1 off Johnson's Buddies products – Johnson's Buddies soaps are priced at around $0.99 in stores such at Walmart, Target, and others. Use these coupons to keep your kiddos clean for months on end without spending a dime.
4) $1 off Excedrin pain relief – use this on the 24-count Excedrin at Meijer priced at $0.99 this week, and you can "buy" free pain relief meds to fill your medicine cabinet. I see this price frequently at many stores, so don't despair if you don't have a Meijer location near you.
5) $5 off Glucerna cereal – this cereal is priced well under $5 at stores such a Walmart. Though it's targeted at diabetics, it's a good alternative to the many high-sugar cereals and worth a try with a free after coupon price tag.
The examples above are just a small snapshot of how you can use coupons to stretch your budget by getting free products. I focused on printable coupons because these are readily available to everyone, but if you start regularly saving your Sunday newspaper inserts, you could be saving even more!
