As a Bank of America customer with a checking and savings account, this is a deal I plan to take advantage of.

Bank of America offers free admission to more than 70 museums nationwide to anyone with a Bank of America card, such as a check, credit or ATM card, on the first full weekend of each month.

The bank's Web site also allows customers to sign up for monthly e-mail or text message reminders about the "Museums on Us" program.

In San Francisco, for instance, it offers free tickets at Yerba Buena Center for the Arts, Museum of the African Disaspora, de Young Museum, and the Legion of Honor.

The next free weekend is March 7-8. Free admission is for the cardholder only and excludes special exhibitions, ticketed shows and fundraising events.
