NEW YORK -Shares of some top oil companies were down at the close of trading:
Chevron fell $.39 or .4 percent, to $106.37.
ConocoPhillips fell $.70 or 1.0 percent, to $71.55.
Exxon Mobil Corp. fell $.44 or .5 percent, to $84.88.
Marathon Oil Corp. fell $.09 or .3 percent, to $32.60.
