NEW YORK -Shares of some top education companies were mixed at the close of trading:
Apollo Group rose $1.17 or 2.2 percent, to $54.07.
Career Education Corp. rose $.18 or 1.6 percent, to $11.40.
DeVry fell $.08 or .2 percent, to $38.84.
Strayer Education Inc. rose $1.85 or 1.6 percent, to $118.26.
