Grains futures mostly fall, beef prices rise

    CHICAGO -Grains futures mostly fell Thursday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

    Wheat for July delivery fell 2.50 cents to $6.63 a bushel; July corn dropped 25 cents to $5.7850 a bushel; July oats fell 20 cents to $3.05 a bushel; while July soybeans rose 13.50 cents to $13.76 a bushel.

    Beef and pork futures rose on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

    June live cattle rose 0.07 cent to $1.1787 a pound; August feeder cattle rose 0.38 cent to $1.5885 a pound; while June lean hogs rose 0.47 cent to 86.02 cents a pound.
