Everybody should learn how to grow their own food. On land or rooftops. Even hydroponic.
To be able and provide by growing alot of the main food you eat is the answer to me. Will you want kind of food you cannot grow? Sure, go to the market and do intelligent shopping for pricing and grow the rest you need. Just a great way to save dollars and also eat healthier. Find teas and get rid of the carbonated drinks that are also costly. Cook ALOT MORE than eating out even though I love taking the wifeee out. Get great pleasure doing that. I bought 2 items: 1)The NutriBullet and 2) The SealAMeal system.
The Bullet is self explanatory. The SealAMeal is to cook in quantity and then to store left overs. Great system and saves alot of time and money.

Two words: PRICE BOOK. There are probably two dozen or so things that you always purchase, keep a notebook or listing that takes note of the date, store and price (per unit, if you can) of regular purchases (for us, butter, per pound, where and when we purchased.) That way, if you see a price that the store says is "sale" or "special", it will be easy to remember what you usually pay. I found that Sam's Club is WAY HIGH on fruit and vegetables, and Aldi's can match or beat them on staples like sugar and flour.

When the hyper inflation comes due to the dollar losing its place as the reserve currency of the world the best way to save on food is to dumpster dive.

There will be a food shortage this summer so be prepared. The number of cattle has hit the lowest point since 1951. Everything from burgers to taco bell will cost more. And taxes are going up

We don't spend on tax breaks, danny.

However, we do spend on SNAP, welfare cash for non food, medicaid and the like.

We'll put you down as a.yes for a.no deduction across.the board flat tax.
