On the most recent edition of Consumer Countdown, Motley Fool consumer foods analysts Michael Finarelli and Sean O'Reilly join Mark Reeth to discuss all the biggest headlines from their sector.
One of the biggest belonged to Burger King Worldwide , which had a solid quarter, especially internationally. Mike takes a look at the fast-food restaurant and compares it to Yum! Brands , as he tries to figure out which is the better investment.
Sean also takes a look at Herbalife and its 27% increase in profits this past quarter. He doesn't think the company deserves to be called a pyramid scheme anymore, especially after numbers like these.
Finally, Mike discusses AMC Networks' planned acquisition of Chellomedia from Liberty Global . He has to decide if AMC or Liberty was the real winner in this deal.
