Cupertino colossus Apple is launching its new iPad Air this Friday. Like all major product launches for Apple, this is a significant event. However, there's one notable omission from this event: the new iPad Mini with Retina display.
iPad Minis are expected later in November, and most of the blame for the delay is being placed on supply constraints. However, there haven't been any reports of component shortages for the iPad Air, so supply should be good.
For last year's November iPad launch, the company sold 3 million iPads in three days. Tech bureau chief Evan Niu hopes to see 4 million iPads sold on opening weekend, as investors need to see meaningful growth in this product segment.
In this segment of Tech Teardown, Erin Kennedy discusses Apple's newest iPad with Evan.
