OMVS Finalizes First Revenue Sharing Deal
TAMPA, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- On the Move Systems Corp. (OTCBB: OMVS) signed a new business development agreement today with the Naples Connection, making the Florida-based provider of travel and transportation services the company's first partner to share in travel revenues.
The Naples Connection delivers online deals on flights, cruises, hotels and travel, making the company a valuable partner for OMVS as the company prepares to launch its own new online transportation portal. Under the terms of the agreement, OMVS will refer new customers to the Naples Connection through its groundbreaking portal in exchange for a share of travel agent commissions.
The partnership is scheduled to begin soon with luxury transportation options from the U.S. to the Bahamas.
These are exciting times for OMVS, which just signed a new joint venture agreement with its first luxury ground transport partner, JetSet Car Services, earlier this week. These service providers stand to capitalize on OMVS' innovative online marketing strategies upon the new platform's launch by providing world-class service to niche travelers and shippers through the portal.
What's more, they are only the first of many new partnerships in the travel and transportation industry that the company has planned. This year, a third of all travel sales around the globe will be booked online, according to a report by the travel research company PhoCusWright. The ISTx platform is key to OMVS' plans to market and develop new solutions that will allow it to compete in the $300 billion online travel market alongside Priceline.com (OTCBB: PCLN), TripAdvisor.com (OTCBB: TRIP) and Expedia.com (OTCBB: EXPE).
