Fertilizer manufacturer Mosaic announced today its third-quarter dividend of $0.25 per share, which is the same rate it has paid for the past five quarters, when it doubled the payout to investors from $0.125 per share .

The board of directors said the quarterly dividend is payable on Dec. 19 to the holders of record at the close of business on Dec. 5. The regular dividend payment equates to a $1.00-per-share annual dividend, yielding 2.3% based on the closing price today of Mosaic's stock.
