Cintas Offers Secure Document Shredding Services at OfficeMax Retail Locations Nationwide
Service available for 49 cents per pound in October in honor of National Protect Your Identity Week, Oct. 20-26
CINCINNATI--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- To help consumers fight against identity theft, Cintas Corporation (NAS: CTAS) today announced a collaboration with OfficeMax® to provide customers with convenient, secure and cost-effective shredding services. OfficeMax customers can now have their financial documents, tax forms and other confidential materials securely destroyed at any OfficeMax retail location. In honor of National Protect Your Identity Week, Oct. 20 - 26, the services will be available for just 49 cents per pound, and the promotion will run through the end of October.
"We take pride in offering our business customers the most secure and reliable services to meet all of their document management needs," said Ed Delamater, Vice President of Operations, Cintas Document Management. "With OfficeMax, we're able to help protect the privacy of millions of consumers throughout the U.S. by ensuring that their private information is securely destroyed."
Customers can bring their confidential documents to any OfficeMax location, and an OfficeMax associate will place the documents in a locked, secure collection bin for off-site destruction. Cintas-certified drivers then pick-up and transport the documents to access-controlled shredding facilities in secure, state-of-the-art vehicles. At the facility, all documents remain under constant surveillance until they are destroyed. Additionally, every shredded document is recycled.
"As a business, we trust Cintas to securely shred our confidential documents, and we are pleased to extend this service to our valued customers," said Robert Rodriguez Jr., Category Manager, OfficeMax. "Now customers will be able to dispose of their confidential materials safely and conveniently at any of our retail locations."
