Tourists and investors alike maybe in for the ultimate rule-breaking experience come 2014, Motley Fool contributor Tim Beyers says in the following video.
Why next year? That's when Sir Richard Branson's Virgin Galactic is expected to officially take to the heavens.
We've heard this story before, of course. Branson first announced Virgin Galactic in 2004, and promised suborbital travel by 2007. Six years later, we're still waiting. The difference this time, Tim says, is that Virgin has achieved some major milestones -- including a new altitude record for its SpaceShipTwo suborbital plane, set just last month.
How can you play this trend as an investor? Northrop Grumman is an option, since its scaled composites subsidiary is responsible for SpaceShipTwo. Another is a current stock in the Motley Fool Rule Breakers portfolio. Tim has more in the video, so please click to watch now.
