Loews Keeps Dividend Steady

Diversified industrial conglomerate Loews announced today its third-quarter dividend of $0.0625 per share, the same rate it's paid since 2006.

The board of directors said the quarterly dividend is payable on September 16 to holders of record at the close of business on August 30. The regular dividend payment equates to a $0.25-per-share annual dividend, yielding 0.5% based on the closing price today of Loews' stock.
