Jones Energy, Inc. Announces Launch of Initial Public Offering

AUSTIN, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Jones Energy, Inc. announced today the commencement of its initial public offering of 14,000,000 shares of its Class A common stock, at an anticipated initial public offering price between $17 and $19 per share, pursuant to a registration statement on Form S-1 previously filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. In connection with the offering, the underwriters will be granted a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 2,100,000 shares of Class A common stock at the initial public offering price, less underwriting discounts and commissions. Jones Energy, Inc. has been approved to list its common shares on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) under the symbol "JONE," subject to official notice of issuance.

J.P. Morgan, Barclays and Wells Fargo Securities will act as joint book-running managers of the offering. Jefferies, Tudor, Pickering, Holt & Co. and Citigroup will act as senior co-managers and Capital One Southcoast, Credit Agricole CIB, Mitsubishi UFJ Securities, Morgan Stanley, SunTrust Robinson Humphrey and Stifel will act as co-managers of the offering.
