NEWPORT BEACH, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Acacia Research Corporation (NAS: ACTG) announced today that a subsidiary has acquired patents for content security used in consumer electronics and mobile devices such as smartphones, tablets, and laptops from a major semiconductor technology company.
