Carmanah Announces Change in Directors and CEO Resignation
VICTORIA, British Columbia--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Carmanah Technologies Corporation (TSX: CMH) ("Carmanah" or the "Company") today announced the resignation of Messrs. Cruickshank and Nocente from the Board of Directors of the Company with immediate effect. The Company also announced that Mr. Michael Sonnenfeldt, a significant shareholder of the Company, and Mr. John Simmons have consented to Act as Directors of Carmanah. Completion of these appointments is expected to occur in the upcoming weeks.
Bruce Cousins, Carmanah CEO, today announced his decision to step down. Cousins will remain in his role until the appointment of a successor in order to allow for an orderly transition.
The above changes are a direct result of recent AGM voting results whereby major shareholders of the Company had expressed their interests.
