Reviewers are weighing in on General Motors' new full-sized pickups, the Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra. Word is that the new trucks are much nicer than the old ones, with better fuel economy and lots of great new features.
But the story behind the story is this: GM expects its new trucks to generate much bigger profits for the company than the old models ever did -- thanks to a strategy that GM borrowed from Ford .
