California-based TriCo Bancshares announced today its second-quarter dividend of $0.11 per share, a 22% increase over the $0.09 per share payout it made last quarter.

The board of directors said the quarterly dividend is payable on June 28 to the holders of record at the close of business on June 22. The bank has made quarterly payouts to investors since 1993. 

The regular dividend payment equates to a $0.44-per-share annual dividend, yielding 2.1% based on the closing price of TriCo Bancshares' stock on June 12.
