Sirona Announces Additional $100 Million Share Repurchase Authorization

LONG ISLAND CITY, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Sirona (NAS: SIRO) , the dental technology leader, today announced that the Company's Board of Directors has approved a new share repurchase program, authorizing up to an additional $100 million in share repurchases, with an expiration date of June 30, 2016. This amount is in addition to the $7.4 million remaining as of March 31, 2013 from our prior $100 million share repurchase authorization announced in August 2011.

The program is effective immediately and runs through June 30, 2016. Purchases may be made in the open market or in privately negotiated transactions from time to time, as determined by Sirona's management and in accordance with the requirements of the Securities and Exchange Commission.
