Google has made waves with its tests of self-driving cars -- which some see as the future of transportation. Those are still a long way off, but automakers are getting closer and closer to that day.
General Motors is one of those automakers. GM said this week that it is testing a new smart cruise control system that can actually drive your car for you under certain conditions. In this video, Fool.com contributor John Rosevear looks at GM's new technology -- and at how soon systems like it could be hitting the market.
