NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Voltari Corporation (NSDQ: VLTC), announces the promotion of Lauren Halpern to Vice President of Sales for the company. The expanded national responsibility elevates Halpern from her former post of Regional Vice President of North American Sales, overseeing the eastern U.S. region.

Halpern joined the company in February 2013 as a veteran media executive with more than 20 years of experience in television and digital advertising sales for companies including FOX Sports Media Group, Discovery Communications and The WB Network, where she was part of the original launch team. She honed her media career at BBDO Worldwide, where she worked on blue-chip accounts such as Visa, Gillette, Wrigley, Federal Express and Pepsi, before joining Voltari.
