Yudong's Matrix Video Switch Leverages TranSwitch's HDplay Transceiver with AnyCable Technology to Ensure Reliable Transmission of High Definition Video Over Long Cables Runs
SHELTON, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- TranSwitch Corporation (NASDAQ: TXCC), a leading provider of semiconductor solutions in the rapidly growing consumer electronics and telecommunications markets, today announced that the Company's TXC-44144 HDplay™ transceiver has been selected by Yudong for a new high definition video switch expected to launch early in the second quarter of 2013. Yudong, headquartered in China, is a leader in multimedia devices for residential, commercial, and industrial applications including video transmission systems, matrix switch products and intelligent home control equipment.
