NuStar Energy (NYS: NS) reported earnings on Feb. 1. Here are the numbers you need to know.

EPS came in at $0.25. The five earnings estimates compiled by S&P Capital IQ predicted $0.32 per share. GAAP EPS were -$0.27 for Q4 versus -$0.32 per share for the prior-year quarter.

For the quarter, gross margin was 12.7%, 620 basis points better than the prior-year quarter. Operating margin was 5.7%, 320 basis points better than the prior-year quarter. Net margin was -2.2%, 320 basis points worse than the prior-year quarter.
Next quarter's average estimate for revenue is $834.5 million. On the bottom line, the average EPS estimate is $0.39.
Next year's average estimate for revenue is $3.05 billion. The average EPS estimate is $2.07.
The stock has a three-star rating (out of five) at Motley Fool CAPS, with 351 members out of 370 rating the stock outperform, and 19 members rating it underperform.
