In a press release today, Research In Motion announced the introduction of its Enterprise Mobility Management solution, BlackBerry Enterprise Service 10, utilizing its new BB10 operating system. The new service allows businesses to securely manage multiple devices and applications.
Enterprise Service 10 supports BlackBerry devices in the workplace, as well as businesses that allow employees to utilize their own mobile computing devices. To that end, BlackBerry Enterprise Service 10 can be used to manage Android and iOS mobile devices, in addition to BB10 smartphones. According to RIM Senior Vice President Peter Devenyi, "BlackBerry Enterprise Service 10 makes mobility easy for businesses to help keep them moving."
Research In Motion is offering existing customers a free licensing upgrade, available until the end of 2013, and a 60-day trial for new users.
