Regarding the fiscal cliff, the public recognizes that Obama was more than willing to give something up to get a deal, whereas the public also realizes that Republicans simply never met a millionaire they didn't like. Regarding regulating automatic weapons, the public now realizes that the NRA would rather see playgrounds of dead children than cut into the profits of gun makers. The fake "both sides are at fault" silliness that this article represents is one of the more endangered pretenses of 2013.
