The Richest Person In Each U.S. State

The research firm Wealth-X recently released a report listing the richest person in each U.S. state.

This new rich list shows that 41 states are home to billionaires who obtained their wealth in diverse ways, ranging from the financial sector to energy to media, according to the Daily Mail.

Unsurprisingly, Bill Gates, Warren Buffett and Larry Ellison nabbed the top spots for their states.

The report found that California and New York are the states with the highest number of mega-millionaires, while Vermont and New Hampshire have not produced a single billionaire.

Here are the richest U.S. residents, in ascending order of wealth.

Just to remind you folks to vote for the GOP so we can repeal the 20th century. We can get rid of the minimum wage and roll back child labor laws.

The minimum wage is set by those who voluntarily sell their labor, just as the minimum price for any other good or service is determined by the lowest price someone is willing to sell that particular good or service.

Of course, the lowest price at which incompetents like Evan Barthold would sell their labor is irrelevant since nobody will buy the labor of a dumbest 1%er at any price.

I am hoping to see more female multi millionaires to billionaires...there are still several countries within the European lands which are more EQUAL towar d the female race than what the USA is still believing and portraying as for rights, and equality for women in the place of "Business". From what I saw, there was only one female(with no picture too) who was a multi-millionaire, as the rest were coupled, or a Sr. Citizen male person...hmmm! Seems like discrimination is still alive and well; the land of Milk and Honey????(USA) toward equal success rates for the female race of USA.

Money is only a tool to be used for as long as The Lord has us on the earth. Having money is not a bad
thing, it is ony considered bad by the way people use it. With all of the world's problems I believe that the extreme
wealthy should always try and help those less fortunate and do good with there blessing .
A lot of people are hurting around the world, to those of you who have money ,Please Help Someone Else

It doesn't matter what you think the extremely wealthy should do. They have free will too. It is not their obligation to help others. They do, but it's not their obligation. Just as it isn't yours.

Obama/ Romey, they all seeking there own interest, hate politicians, i think we all as people should get educated and work hard to achieve what we want in life, God bless the child that has his own, do not envy anyone, because we don't know how they become rich, ONE LOVE.

Maybe you could get educated enough to learn the difference between "there" and "their", and "they all seeking" is not even proper English. Besides, it's "Romney, not Romey". "I" is always capitalized.
