Romney wanted to take Detroit auto Companies bankrupt using private equity financing that was impossible to get in 2008 and would have ended with GM and Chrysler in liquidation. The private credit market was locked up frozen when Obama used federal funds to restructure GM and Chrysler saving the American auto industry from collapse.. My daughter had a pre-approved student loan for her 2nd year of college that was not disbursed because the private lender froze all lending activity due to the banking crisis . That is how bad it was when Obama took over the Presidency.
