George Soros Bails Out the Democrats with $2 Million

The New York Times has reported that George Soros just gave $2 million dollars to Democratic Super PACs.

Just when everyone thought that Soros was focusing on philanthropy and ignoring Democratic calls for cash because of a perceived snub, "The Man Who Broke The Bank of England" is back in action, rescuing the Democrats from an October in which they're severely outgunned financially.

The first $1 million went to Priorities USA Action, which has been lagging substantially behind similar Super PACs on the Romney side by millions of dollars.

Romney's Restore Our Future had around $20.5 million cash on hand the last time they reported, while Priorities was down to a mere $4.2 million. With this injection of Soros cash, their cash on hand increases by around 25%.

Soros also came to the rescue of two unnamed Super PACs designed to aid Democrats running for House and Senate races -- likely House Majority PAC and Majority PAC, both of which he's supported before and which were each running low on funds.

According to the Center for Responsive Politics, Majority PAC, which focuses on Senate races, was down to $1.2 million cash on hand, while House Majority PAC had only $8.3 million for dozens of races. With a half million extra in the bank, these PACs have some breathing room now.

Earlier, Soros had given $1 million to American Bridge 21st Century PAC, which focuses on opposition research.

The reason for the contribution? Soros told The Times that he was "appalled by the Romney campaign which is openly soliciting the money of the rich to starve the state of the money it needs to provide social services.

Needless to say, Democrats are stoked. The cavalry has arrived.

This evil man is trying to do what Carlos Slim has done to Mexico to the United States. If you don't know who that is and what that means, it'll behove you to find out.

Soros is a radical enemy of America, and is the backer of a tangled web of extreme leftist organizations which seek to undermine American freedom, and support an extreme socialist government., and work in concert with Obama.

One more time- Business CEO's DO NOT MAKE GOOD POLITICAL LEADERS. Businesses are a Fascist Dictatorship, democratic government is ruled by consensus. This man is so far removed from the reality of an average person, he cannot have the empathy or the experience to make decisions that benefit ALL of the classes or citizens. Throw in a rigid belief in a strict religious dogma, and you have Mitt, the unelectable candidate.

George Soros was a young boy during WW 2. He was a Hungarian Jew.

All you right wing haters need to get a life. If you can't get a life try getting some real facts for once.

As a teenager he was a Nazi collaborator, and as an adult he has stated that he has no regrets over cooperating in sending Jewish families to the gas chambers.

The man is scum

I had to look further into this and found out your comments are talking points from that idiot Glenn Beck. They have been proved to be false and are renounced by Jewish groups.

Mitt will never get that this is a country, not a business. It is filled with people, not goods to be sold. You do not get an executive bonus for firing people or cutting their unemployment benefits or social security. Anyone who wants to run a country like a business doesn't understand what being president means.

There was no snub ,nor was he holding out because of snub .This guy is about power and having his way .He has been involved in policy and most likely was looking for more control. The question this article should be asking is why anyone or any group should be allowed to give this much This really does omit your opinion and is just killing any chance of honesty in government Don't be fooled neither party is for you and never will be unless we stand up and a set better rules and set those rules by we the people not the government

Here's a video of Romney in his early years at Bain, explaining his purpose in acquiring companies was to "harvest them at significant profit.

Watch Romney himself explain the purpose of Bain Capital to his fellow shareholders.

No one should be surprised. After all, Bain Capital wasn't in the business of creating jobs. It was in the business of creating profits.

The two goals aren't at all the same -- as Americans whose jobs have been eliminated or whose wages and benefits have been cut know all too well.

For years, higher corporate profits have come at the expense of fewer jobs and lower wages. Business leaders and financiers have been "harvesting" like mad, leaving most Americans behind in the dirt.

I hope Soros goes broke trying to prop up his Communist regime. It's failing miserably because real Americans have woken up and will not tolerate the shredding of their Constitution.

Two million dollars is hardly that much of a donation considering George Soros's net worth.. On a percentage basis, I gave six times as much to the Obama campaign.

What is Mitt's interest in the presidency? What is his vision? Does he really “Believe in America”? Why does he want, as he says, to “take the presidency"? Is he being honest? See here or links below.

Truth is, Mitt is not the right man for the Presidency. He is not the business man he advertises. He is a pirate, dressed in a business suit! He started Bain to bust and raid the treasuries of umpteen hundreds or thousands of companies. And he's buried his treasure in the Caribbean.

Mitt's just doing what he does best – taking personal advantage of an opportunity. He's looking to buy the White House as his new home office. The Presidency can help create greater fortune for himself, for his family, for his friends and perhaps his Church. Once these super wealthy people corner America's money, they'll decide whether to trickle it down.
