U.S. Businesses Added 176,000 Jobs in June, ADP Reports

Job fair hiringWASHINGTON -- A private survey shows U.S. businesses increased hiring in June, suggesting the job market could be recovering after three sluggish months.

Payroll provider ADP says businesses added 176,000 jobs last month. That's better than the revised total of 136,000 jobs it reported for May.

The report only covers hiring in the private sector and excludes government job growth. The Labor Department will offer a more complete picture of June hiring on Friday.

The ADP survey offered some hope that hiring is picking up. But it has often deviated sharply from the government report. In May, the Labor Department said employers added just 69,000 jobs, the fewest in a year and nearly half ADP's estimate.

It's customary for the DoL to change its initial employment figures after a few days. But I doubt it will change for the better to the extent that ADP reports. I would like to believe ADP, but have my doubts.

Only 80,000 jobs added in June..ADP has never been close to predicting monthly job growth.

Wow! 176,000 new jobs for 2 million college grads, 8 million high school grads, and 500,000 new emigrants! Only Jimmy Carter or Barrack Kardashian would brag about that!

The Chinese have built a lot of industial parks in the ESA, whole towwns are gone because of it, one outside of Noise that makes fertilizer, they are all tax exempt and instant citizens ship for the owner for life and five years for their imported workers, they don't hire American sand nothing is said about that. we can't speak chinese I guess. Maybe thats what is drivbing the job market up, just nmot for Americans , b ut who would know that?

176k jobs added. How many were lost? Were they added in the private sector or the government? Were they manufacturing jobs? All indicators are pointing to a very real possiblility of a double dip recession.
I'm sure the Huff would like to think the administration is having a tiny bit of positive impact on the economy that the administration could hold out to the electorate, but I'm sorry, it's simply not happening, and won't happen under this left wing adgenda of tax and spend, and wealth sharing. Wake up America.

WEALTH SHARING?.....MITT ROMNEY ONLY PAID 13% IN TAXES. BECAUSE OF THE BUSH TAX CUTS THE WEALTHY AND CORPORATIONS HAVEN'T PAID THEIR FARE SHARE IN THE PAST DECADE. Right on, Bill - I love the way these libs love to vilify anyone who has sense enough to run a business efficiently - the libs need to ask the question "why were the jobs relocated" - answer is simple - more productive, efficient workers. Like it or not, everyone is driven by reward for productivity - some people go over the top - call it greed - others are lazy - call it sloth. I think the lazy outnumber the greedy today, and even the lazy become greedy - they want a lot for doing nothing - that's our welfare, folks.
Hewlett Packard outsourced their tech support - poor performance brought it back to the USA. That's what it wil take to get this country going again. Hard working, efficient workers. Unfortunately, we're headed the other way. I'm sure Romney can fix it - question is will he have the opportunity.
