Never heard of Uniqlo? Chances are you will in the next year. And it's not the only new brand that could make a splash in 2012.I buy only local , made in USA or second hand.

Products made in china at charming charlies, and i really like to try on shoes when i buy them (unlike endless). We like to buy american only and only products that are safe for use. So china made does not make it into this household.

ALL plastic jewelry, made with lead paints and materials, by slave labor in China, working for $2 a week. Everyone wants cheap stuff, there is the place to go. Big stores, all asian help, direct from China trying to be the Walmart of accessories. You get what you pay for.

What is with that? They were real UGG's too. Went to Big 5 Sporting store and got the look-a-like for $45.00. We thought the real ones came from Australia. Apparently only the wool inside is from there. I tried to buy American for the holidays but could find nothing made in America.

I won't even read the name of the new retailers. People need to spend less money on "things" and focus more on their health & the environment.
