I am not a foreigner, other than my ancestors coming over here from England and forcing Native Americans out of their homeland, but I do know financial aid. Illegal immigrants are not eligible to receive federal money. Look it up. They are not even allowed to receive scholarships that are made up of even part federal money. Further, many states require illegal immigrants, on top of not receiving financial aid, to pay out of state tuition and some have even barred entrance to the university. PLEASE PLEASE look up what you are talking about PRIOR to posting. It makes you look, well, ignorant.

Im tired of paying for these illegal kids to go to school for free, they clog up the high schools and grade schools yet they all have lump sums of cash but get free books,lunches,sports and fieldtrips and school supplies.J ust another way for our government to give the unreachable american dream to another foreigner !!!! The costs for that I am sure is outrageous. He wants to be a meteorologist, specalizing in severe weather, which is why he is at OU. My youngest cousin onmy mom's side of the family, is going to college in two years, and my uncle will be paying will be paying for both of my cousins in college at once.
While I don't think college tuition should be free, but students should not graduate with thousands of dollars in debt either. One thing if students work for their own pleasure to have money they can spend on themselves, but having to work two or three jobs towards your college degree is utterly ridiculous. There are people out there that they will have a decent life ahead of them only to pay back student loans until their late 30s/40s sometimes even until retirement. College tuition should not be so expensive that the students and their parents fear that they will be bankrupt or paying off debt for eternity.

When the colleges will turn off the heat, AC, lights and costs will decrease even more.
The best way to avoid big debt is to attend the nearest public college or university and live at home. If you want a "name" degree, transfer in your senior year to the big name school.
