The Consumer Product Safety Commission said Disney reported receiving six complaints. The CPSC said it appears the problem is related to current from the battery's watch interacting with nickel in the watch back. Apparently, the affected children are allergic to nickel.Disney said it sold about 1,200 of the watches between November and January at Disneyland, Disney World, Disney cruises and at gift shops at Orlando International Airport. The Chinese-made watches cost about $30.
A "tracking code" is etched into the watch back on on the packaging. It is: K130-6377-7-10187.
If you have one of the watches, contact Disney to get instructions on returning the watch for a $40 refund.
