iPhone Alarm Problems Continue for Third Day

Three days into January 2011 and some Apple (AAPL) iPhone users are still struggling with a glitch in the phone's alarm function.

For a third consecutive day, iPhone alarms failed to go off, leading to users missing flights and arriving late at work in Asia and Europe, Reuters reported.

"My iPhone alarm didn't work again," user sueannlove from Singapore tweeted. "Time to dig out (the) old school alarm clock."

On January 2, Apple said that it was aware of the glitch with the iPhone's non-recurring alarm. The company said that the alarms work as normal starting today.

This is not the first time that the iPhone alarm has hit trouble. Last year, some of the smartphones struggled to recognize changes in daylight savings time.

You beat me to it. Or get a cat, they get me up every day. Got 5 of them, plenty of back up in case one of THEM sleeps late.
